Who's Tam?

My name is Tamara Hummel, often refereed to as Tam but never Tammy….I decided it was a GREAT IDEA to start a luxury beach set up service for chairs, umbrellas, tents, and more at 54?!!!!?? The idea came one afternoon as my husband and I were sitting on the beach at Tybee Island and (as usual) people kept stopping and telling us we had an awesome beach set up……it was after the 5th person stopping I looked at my husband and said. “We should sell these set ups.” Well once my husband stopped laughing and said “are you serious?” I put the wheels in motion. 
I have spent the last 20 years of my life actually working as a RN. I specialize in open heart, vascular and thoracic surgery. I have had many a night working 16, 18, 20 hour shifts in a very high stress job that i have loved every minute of. Funny thing about aging but you start to realize we dont live forever. It was time for this girl to find something that would get me healthier and allow me the opportunity to be outside more engaging on what this beautiful world has to offer. WIth that Castles In The Sand was born………..
